Every time I visit, I fall deeper in love with that little town. I swear it looks like it's straight out of a story-book... whether it's summer or winter it's always beautiful out and I just love the small-town, home-y vibe.

Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I gained a few pounds over the weekend. Aside from an amazing home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, I made sure to go to Pizza Antica--an absolute MUST every time I visit, because it is beyond delicious. Our party of 12 ordered about 7 different pizzas, and I have to say after trying a little of each I wasn't the least bit disappointed with any of them. Who would of thought that a potato pizza could be so good? Overload on carbs? Yes. But insanely delicious? Oh yes. They have the most interesting combinations that are always surprisingly tasty. And the best part? There's one in SANTA MONICA! My brother told me and I thought he was kidding, but I looked it up and it is indeed true; there's a brand new one at Santa Monica Place! So exciting--I'll definitely be heading there next time I'm craving a good pizza.

Friday morning we checked out of our hotel, and before heading out to San Fran to experience the madness of Black Friday, we decided to stop at La Boulange Bakery, which is actually right across the street from Pizza Antica. Let me just say, that this place has officially been added as a MUST for when I visit in the future. The service was alright, but the food was incredible. I ordered a small prosciutto & cheese sandwich, which was just perfect. My brother ordered a hot chocolate, and the server came out with not a cup, but a HUGE bowl of it--it was amazing! And words can't even describe the French toast that my mom ordered... it was hands-down the best French toast I've EVER had.

So if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting these two spots. You won't be disappointed ;)

Hope everyone had a yummy Thanksgiving!

XX,
Nathalie
